I think this article is important for those struggling with suicide and self-worth because it says “ we believe that through the Atonement of Christ, All mankind may be saved”. Because we all have the knowledge that we can be saved through the light of Christ, we know we have a purpose. Through Christ’s sacrifice, we were blessed with the ability to be saved and live without fear. No matter who we are we have this love and chance if we desire it. The beautiful thing about this gospel that it doesn’t matter who you are or where you are because in Heavenly father’s eyes we all have a bigger, better and, greater purpose that we could all even imagine. Even though it is hard at the time we are never out of reach from the loving and guiding light of Christ. Often times I think when people are struggling with topics like suicide they lack remembrance of an eternal plan and perspective. I think through reminding ourselves that we all will have an equal chance to be saved if we so desire that we can easily obtain it.

The fact the Heavenly Father has given us all this chance to be saved through Christ’s Atonement is such a huge gift. It shows us how much he truly loves us. He gives so much and in return asks for so little. I think remembering this gives us so much more importance and purpose in each of our lives. Knowing all that Christ did for me I could never take for granted the many gifts I am given. I love the Atonement because it gives me strength and a greater purpose throughout all the things I do. I do not know where I would be without this knowledge and think it is a message that has the power to help so many. I think always trying to keep an eternal perspective gives us all a purpose that we could never find anywhere else.
